Juana González Posse is a senior student in the Image and Sound Design program at FADU–UBA. She was part of the UTDT Film Program 2025–26, led by Andrés Di Tella, and in March she participated in the Málaga Talent Campus at the Málaga Film Festival.
She directed, wrote, and edited the short film “Después del silencio” (2024), which was selected for the 26th BAFICI; won the UBA Competition at the 3rd FICUBA; received the Best Screenplay award (ARGENTORES) and Best Art Direction (AADA) at the Women and Film Festival; and won First Prize in the FSAGAI University Competition.
She co-directed the short film “Pacífico” (2024), selected for the 26th BAFICI.
She edited and co-wrote the short film “Luz Mala” (2023), selected for the 25th BAFICI; winner of the RFI Award 2024; and winner of the 2nd Paris Latin American Film Festival (CLAP).
She edited the short film “Sanne” (2023), for which she won the Best Editing award from EDA (Argentine Association of Audiovisual Editors).
She currently works as an editor on independent film projects and as an audiovisual filmmaker.
